Sloping wells allow you to easily fill your brushes to a working amount of paint and to keep your washes, glazes and inks separate from your paint unlike traditional wet palettes. Bigger corner wells can be used to hold rinse water, and source water to draw clean water for rewetting your brush. It also helps keeping metallic paint and non-metallic paint separated. Durable, thirsty, neutral gray sponge allows you to accurately see the true paint color and value. Unlike white sponges which reflects light and creates shadows, our proprietary paper allows the neutral gray from the sponge to show through thereby acting like a gray paper palette.
