Kindly Note

  • If the gate operator system is only solar powered, and the beam sensor is powered by the gate opener system during both working and standby modes, please add 30W solar panels or more and upgrade the battery capacity (NOT incl.) to at least 17 Ah or higher to meet the power consumption.
  • Please refer to the corresponding TOPENS gate opener user manual for the correct wire connection.
  • Connect the emitter to the gate operator system or receiver with a 2 x 0.3mm² cable. Connect the receiver to the gate operator system with a 4 x 0.3mm² cable. Cables are required but NOT included.  
  • It is suggested to put the cables in the PVC conduit to protect the wiring, and bury the PVC conduit underground.
  • Generally, the distance between the sensor and the control board should be within 20m.
  • Sensing range may be affected in extreme weather conditions, such as blizzard, rainstorm, sandstorm etc. It is highly recommended to install the emitter 3m to 14m away from the receiver.
  • One TC102 photocell sensor can only work for one gate operator, while one gate operator can connect two TC102 security sensors at most.
