1. Open the cover to reveal the top detection lens, and pull out the optical component. 2. Carefully clean the outer smooth surface of the glass with a dry dust-free cloth. 3. Place a drop of saliva on the middle of the lens using a clean and dry finger. Dab the saliva onto the lens from above, without smearing the drop. Ensure that no air bubbles or foam are on the lens. Leave the saliva sample to dry at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes. Place the lens with the completely dried drop of saliva inside the casing of the device. 4. With your eyes lose to the lens, rotate the base to "on" position to activate the LED light. The focal length is adjusted by the rotation lens until the image is clear in the viewing field. Refer to the "result interpretation" in this specification to determine the physiological cycle. 5. After each use, turn the base to "off" position, turn off the LED, and clean the lens with a sterile cloth. 6. The handbook shows results of the ferning patterns of saliva, and from the comparable diagrams, you will be able to see if you are infertile, less fertile or fertile, giving you an idea whether conception is likely or unlikely at that time.
