A little about Mis’ Rubin’s southern classic since 1935 Mis’ Rubin’s Seasonings is the continuation of one couple’s American Dream. Rubin and Julia Hanan arrived in Montgomery, Alabama, in the early 1920’s ready to make a new life for themselves. They started a meat market but it was her unique spice blends that drew locals. Customers raved about the fantastic seasoning that came with each steak purchased from Penny Profit. Favored customers recall their pleasure upon receiving a little extra of the rub.
