    《黄帝内经》是中医四大经典著作之一,对后世影响深远。《内经》书名早见于《汉书·艺文志》。晋皇甫谧在《甲乙经》序中首次提到《内经》包括《素问》九卷、《针经》九卷(后世称为《灵枢》),共计十八卷。唐代王冰将《素问》改编为二十四卷,对《内经》的传承起到了重大的贡献。宋代史崧将家藏的九卷本《灵枢》改编为二十四卷,成为了现存行世的《灵枢》版本。今世所通行的《内经》,以此两种版本为多。原本的十八卷本《内经》,由于宋代战火,典籍大量散佚,早已湮没无闻。

   《黄帝内经太素》,隋代杨上善撰,是分类注释《黄帝内经》的早期典籍。原书三十卷,早在南宋便已失传,19世纪才在日本发现了唐钞本,现仅存二十五卷(缺卷一、卷四、卷七、卷十八、卷二十,共五卷)。《太素》所注释的《内经》为十八卷本,且成书早于王冰编订《素问》,呈现了《内经》的版本原貌,具有很高的文献价值,也是研究《内经》的重要参考资料。

    本次整理出版的《黄帝内经太素》,以1924年兰陵堂刊萧延平校勘本为底本,以1980年中国中医研究院影印的《缺卷覆刻黄帝内经太素》补入第十六卷、第二十一卷及第二十二卷部分内容,共计二十五卷。原书均为繁体竖排,现改为简体横排,并加现代标点,以便读者的阅读与研究。
