随着国民经济的飞速发展和人民生活水平的不断提高,国家对生态环境建设越来越重视,老百姓对居住环境的要求也越来越高,园林作为人类营造的“第二自然”, 对改善人们的居住环境有着重要的作用,同时是一个国家和地区经济文化的集中反映。园林的营造过程我们称之为造园,那么造园如何定义呢?在的区域范围内,利用并改造天然山水地貌或者人为地开辟山水地貌,结合植物的栽植和建筑的布置,从而构成一个供人们观赏、游憩、居住的环境,创造这样一个环境的全过程(包括设计和施工在内)我们称之为造园。
