《亚太名家设计解读》（上下集）出版以后，在业界获得不错的口碑，并于今年七月份又重新出版。新书以彩色精装、图文并茂的形式呈现，以飨读者。今年下半年，笔者又启动了《见证中国名家设计崛起》一书的写作。原计划要像《亚太名家设计解读》那样，一口气编入38个设计师的作品，并以上下集的形式一次性完成。遗憾的是由于《见证中国名家设计崛起》一书的启动时间太晚，笔者只好放弃出版部上下集的“虚荣心”，选择了先完成上集写作的可行性计划，这是一个有趣而有学问的出书之道。尽管每个入选者都有自己的特色和优势，但对上集的构思与编辑，对下集的预留空间，对入选设计师的平衡，尤其对读者阅读感和印象的设计，这里面都有一定的讲究。
