节 脉史纪略:
祖国医学中脉法的起源,一般认为早创始于黄帝和黄帝时代。据史料所载,远古时期,已有伏羲、神农、黄帝、岐伯、鬼臾区、扁鹊、俞跗等论脉之说。到公元前8世纪至公元前1世纪的春秋战国时代,便把脉法记入史册。自此以后,脉法在漫长的历史时期,通过诸多医家的观察认识,充实提高,积累经验,著成种属繁多的脉学书籍。据统计,古今脉学专著约有190~220余种之多。[1.2.3]引这些丰富的脉学文献,是构成中国医药学伟大宝库的一部分。近40余年来,国内各地发表的脉学论文约有500余篇,国外发表论文也不下数百篇。特别是日人对脉学的研究,进展更为深入迅速。据中国中医科学院图书情报研究所统计,仅1974~1984年间,国外脉学论文(日文)有24~82篇。这对于指导脉法学习与临床医疗,有着十分的重要意义和价值。
1.远古时期——脉法起源(50万年~公元前8世纪):
远古时期,人类为了生存,在与自然灾害、猛兽、疾病作斗争的过程中,开始了保健和医疗活动。从出土的甲骨文可知,远在殷商时代就有除害灭病的记录。从伏羲氏制九针到著成《黄帝针灸》,中国医学有了详细记载。晋·皇甫谧说:“伏羲氏……画八卦……乃尝味百药而制九针,以拯夭枉焉。”到了黄帝时代(公元前27—26世纪),开始用麻织布,用玉(坚石)作兵器,造舟车弓矢,染五色衣裳,螺祖养蚕,仓颉造文字,大桡作甲子,伶伦作乐器,与岐伯论脉法,于是从虞至晋代,祭祀黄帝,尊黄帝为始祖,一切文物制度创立推源于黄帝。在医学中,古代医家也都尊黄帝及其臣岐伯为医学师祖,并把脉法的发明归属于黄帝,后世医家一直也是这个看法。如唐·杨玄操说:“脉法始于黄帝。”清·吴谦说:“脉法倡自岐黄。”(《医宗金鉴》)清·周学霆说:“轩辕……使岐伯取气口作脉,以候人之动气。”(《三指禅》)Bedford.D.E氏说:“根据传说,中国古代的脉学创始于黄帝。”[4]历代诸家指出,脉法是远古时代黄帝创造,当时并著有《黄帝脉诀》、《黄帝脉经》。据13人,丹波元胤《中国医籍考》著录:“《黄帝脉诀》:《崇文总目》一卷,佚”,“《黄帝脉经》:《宋志》一卷(《读书后志》作三卷),佚。”虽然以上著作已佚,仍能说明脉学在黄帝时代已有专书典籍。现存《黄帝内经》一书中,也时见引用其中文献。如《素问.示从容论》:“雷公日:臣请诵《脉经·上下篇》,甚众多矣。”
