在全球气候变暖背景下,天气发生的概率不断增大。尤其是2021年6月以来,北半球出现持续高温热浪,给人类社会未来发展带来极大风险。气候环境下,夏季变得更热,冬季变得更冷,都将需要更多的电、气、煤和油用于制冷和制热,这又将导致更大的能源消耗和更多的二氧化碳排放,因此节约能耗具有重要的战略意义。正如中国工程院谢克昌院士在“2021中国能源‘金三角’‘十四五’区域协同发展论坛”上所说:“相比拓展二氧化碳资源化利用途径,节能提效才是实现碳达峰、碳中和的优选。”
