现代脊柱外科学第三版序言当今是互联网的时代，也是各行各业都向互联网靠拢和攀亲的时代，互联网已成为时尚的代名词。
由于信息传递的方式变了，速度也快了，手续也简化了，只要打开手机或电脑，一切都历历在目，好不快捷清晰，而且形象逼真。由于这一现状，当今执笔写文章、写书、甚至阅读书本和看报的人也少了！用电脑著书立说的人也未见增加！尤其是富有朝气的中青年一代受其影响更甚。在此情况下要想下功夫完成一部专著的修订与增删工作可真是今非昔比了。当年的约稿、应稿者大多是提前、至少是按时交稿；当前却成了昨日黄花，往事只好存在浓浓的记忆和回味之中了！
说也奇怪，世上诸事往往说不清、道不明！譬如使用互联网，什么都快了！但是患颈椎病的速度也快了；在上世纪数十年间大学生中患颈椎病者不足百分之一，可自从电脑、手机以及游戏机等出现后，患颈椎病的人数像是各种设施更新换代一样，迅速增加，自新纪元开始后在大学中颈椎病的发生率逐年上升，数年前从2%到5%已令人惊讶！但去年的统计，每百位大学生中颈椎病发病率已超过25%、达27%之多！此种直线上升速率比Ipad的更新换代还快！像与网速、宽带竞赛一般，仅仅十五年，以超越二十倍的速度直线上升怎不让人震惊！过去在青少年中难以遇到的肩颈腰背痛患者，目前也成倍地增加！

<div>大家千万不要误会，本人并非老拔贡，而且对新生事物一向走在前面。例如当年本人在长征医院骨科主持工作时，全校台传真机在骨科，率先购置了打印材料的四通机和复印机，电脑问世后，我们也是在全校率先鼓励全科医生购置个人电脑、并在经济上予以无息贷款支持！……同样，我也每天上网了解天下大事，用微信、用4G手机等均和年青人一样，包括网上购物等等；但我从不玩游戏，也确实没有时间去网聊。我的颈椎虽用了八十年尚属正常，究其原因，大概是：每当我浏览网页或看手机时都是采取平视体位。即便是主刀手术时，也是在操作间歇期择机仰颈；如此每天低头的时间也就有限了，从而也保护了自己。</div>
<div>任何事物都有正反两面，尤其是新生事物，在接受它的同时应加以全面了解，并力求掌握分寸，这也就是"度"；在分享网络快乐的同时，且勿忘乎所以。当你天天埋头在屏幕下、长时间陶醉在视听享受的梦幻时，你的颈椎椎间盘由于长时间屈颈（低头）而处于高压状态下岂能不退变吗？时间越长、压力越大，持续时间愈久，退变就越严重。也就是说，此种持续、长时间低头就是颈椎病高发的罪魁祸首。</div>
<div>虽然不能将"低头族"与"颈椎病"划等号，但天长日久地持续下去也就"基本如此"了。这也是老子所讲的"福祸相依"吧！试想，在年纪轻轻的学子中就有1/4人群在风华正茂时患上颈椎病，毕业后步入社会再继续维持如此生活工作习惯（性），大概到了三十多岁青中年期时发病率至少再增加一倍。那么到了壮年，正是事业有成、步入成功人士群体时岂不都成了脊柱病患者了！未老先衰！届时何来生活质量，想去旅游也只好心有余而力不足，更不要说登山下海了！当然"梦游"还是可行的！  </div>
<div>鉴于上述情况，我们必需下定决心，在广泛开展科普知识宣传的同时，努力完成"脊柱外科学"第三版修订和补充工作，并从互联网 的角度审视诸多相关问题，以求降低脊柱伤病患者的发病率，提高自愈率；尤其针对低头族人群、对长时间埋头弯腰工作生活学习者提出告诫：为了您和您们的亲人，更是为了您的未来，请仰起头，挺起胸！无论是上网看文件、看手机都务必把页面向上提升保持仰颈、两眼平视的状态下阅读，做到防患于未然。当然，您一定要任性也没关系。我国的脊柱外科水平处于地位，届时您需要手术也会替您安排床位和主刀医师，欢迎光临！哈！哈！笑话而已，相信每个人都会珍惜自己的健康、提高生活质量和对未来美好的期待！愿与您共勉之。本书的初型是1983年定稿、1984年5月由上海科技文献出版社出版的"脊柱外科临床研究"一书。之后又在同一出版社出版了"颈椎病"（1987年完稿，1988年2月出版，责任编辑是王慧娟女士）和"下腰痛"（1990年元月完稿，同年8月付印，责任编辑仍为王女士）；此两本书除简装本外，另有一批高标准的精装本。这在当年缺书、少刊物、纸张紧张的时代十分难得，难怪当我将颈椎病精装本（全为道林纸、硬壳）送给重庆三军大黎鳌教授请他指教时，他十分惊讶地说："多少年见不到如此精美的出版物了！"  </div>
<div>五年后更为精致的"脊柱外科学"正式出版，此书完稿于1985年春节，正式发行为同年11月，有50多位中外学者参与撰写，全书内容除涵盖颈椎病、下腰痛和其他脊柱外科基本问题外，凡与脊柱外科有关的基本理论和临床专题，包括先天畸形、炎症、肿瘤、外伤、退变和劳损等几乎全部脊柱外科临床课题都纳入本书，期望能为当年异军突起的脊柱外科贡献一份力量。本书的责任编辑是陆琦女士，一位富有创新精神的女强人；主编助理由老军医、老编辑和撰稿人刘大雄主任担任；全书1390000字，文图并茂，绘图员都是解放前上海美专毕业，解放后数十年间一直在第二军医大学绘图室、从事教学绘图工作的宋石清老师等。每幅图不仅精美，而且与人体结构的形象和比例相一致，以确保其科学性和真实性......</div>
