近年来,慢性病已逐步成为影响人类健康的主要疾病,慢性病导致的死亡人数已经占我国总死亡人数的85%以上。慢性病患者除急性期外大部分时间生活在社区,其发生和流行与经济社会、生态环境、文化习俗和生活方式等因素密切相关,因此也被确认为生活方式疾病。其具有病程长、流行广、费用高、致残(死)率高的特点。目前,我国社区居民的慢性病防治知识知晓率、治疗率和控制率还有待提高,这对慢性病社区防控工作提出了严峻挑战。
