前  言
第二次世界大战以后,为解决伤残士兵伤痛和功能障碍等问题,催生了康复医学。随着社会、政治、经济和文化的发展,医学模式从“生物医学模式”逐渐向“生物- 心理- 社会医学模式”转变,康复医学不断发展壮大,与预防医学、临床医学、保健医学并驾齐驱,成为保护人类健康和促进繁衍生息的四大医学体系之一。随着医学科学技术的发展,康复的基本理论和诊疗技术不断更新,康复医学学科体系不断发展完善。
20 世纪80 年代初,康复医学开始传入中国,与中国传统康复医学有机结合,形成了较具中国特色的康复医学体系。30 多年来,在党和政府的关心、支持下,学科日渐壮大,体系不断完善,康复治疗和康复临床亚学科不断涌现。目前,康复已不再局限于残疾人和残疾状态,而是更加关注早期和危重症康复。随着老龄化社会不断加剧,尤其是2008 年汶川地震、奥运会和残奥会后,康复需求呈井喷式增长。
为应对社会对康复快速增长的需求,从国家到地方的各级卫健委都出台了相应的鼓励性政策,鼓励二、三级综合性医院成立康复医学科,鼓励各省市及时调整医疗服务体系,成立康复医院(或中心)。截至2019年,全国城市康复医院数量为470 个,农村康复医院数量236 个,全国综合医院康复医学科床位数27.17 万张,大大满足了社会需求,为学科发展做出了巨大贡献。
