薛健,960年月生,江苏徐州人。设计师、建筑艺术作家、出色的摄影家。现为薛健环境艺术设计研究所主持人,兼任中国矿业大学工业设计系教授、山东建筑工程学院艺术设计系教授。20多年来,他一直从事建筑和环境艺术理论与实践的研究,先后编著出版了《居室装饰指南》和《装修构造与作法》。993年受中国建筑工业出版社委托,主编了我国环境艺术设计领域部百科全书《装饰装修设计全书》 995年主持编写了装饰装修指导性工具书《装饰工程手册》和“室内外设计资料集》、《装修设计与施工》等 并相继完成了《易居精舍》、《国外建筑入口环境》、《越界城市广场》、《世界园林、建筑与景观丛书》和《国外室内外设计丛书》等O余部专著。主持设计并施工完成了数十项大型工程项目,部分被评为优质工程和样板工程。其中主要设计作品有 北京长城饭店分店装修、北亚运村宾馆装修设计、中国国际贸易中心商场装修设计、金谷大厦装修设计、江苏银河乐园舞厅和商场装修设计、江苏副食品大楼室内外装修设计等。
