儿童免疫学是儿科学的重要分支,是连接儿科学与基础免疫学的重要桥梁。绝大多数儿科疾病均有免疫机制参与。具体讲,儿科疑难复杂病的诊断、疾病靶标的精准定位、先进的诊疗手段的研发均离不开免疫学。每一名儿科医生都应该掌握必要的免疫学知识,以适应新时代儿科医学的发展。
儿童免疫学涵盖的原发性免疫缺陷病(PID)、儿童过敏性疾病和儿童风湿性疾病,免疫系统功能异常是这几类疾病最重要的发病机制。儿童免疫系统发育特征决定了儿童时期的这几类疾病也具有鲜明的、不同于成人的疾病特点。可见,儿童免疫学涵盖的上述三类经典疾病其实同宗同源,具有深厚的内在联系。还值得强调的是,儿童免疫性疾病许多临床表型也与儿科学各亚学科(专业)密切相关。因此,儿科免疫性疾病的诊疗过程必须采取学科交叉的方法。
