中国麻风防治协会(China Leprosy Association,CLA)是在原卫生部顾问马海德博士的倡议下,于1985年3月5日恢复成立的(原名中华麻风救济会,成立于1926年1月),是由全国从事麻风防治、科研、管理工作者和社会各界关心、支持我国麻风防治事业的人士自愿结成并依法登记注册的学术性、公益性、非盈利性法人社团,是中国科学技术协会的组成部分,是中国发展麻风科技事业的重要社会力量。该协会挂靠卫生部。
