諾曼.厄爾史傳德Norman C. Ellstrand
加州大學河濱分校（UCR）遺傳學教授，主持「食物與農業」講座。著有 Dangerous Liaisons?: When Cultivated Plants Mate with Their Wild Relatives。
伊利諾大學厄巴納香檳分校（University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign）理學士，專研植物演化遺傳，取得德州大學奧斯汀分校（University of Texas at Austin）博士學位。
國際期刊「高引用」學者，發表超過一百八十篇作品。演講對象包括美國國會職員到古巴的生物科技學者。獲得傅爾布萊特獎學金（Fulbright Fellowship）至瑞典研究，亦參與美國國家科學研究委員會（NRC）多項活動，包括基因轉殖作物商業化對環境的影響。
