为了进一步深化卫生专业职称改革,2000年人事部、卫生部下发了《关于加强卫生专业技术职务聘请工作的通知》。通知要求,卫生专业的副高级技术资格通过考试与评审相结合的方式获得,正高级技术资格通过评审委员会答辩后获得。根据通知精神和考试工作需要,副高级技术资格考试在全国各省、自治区、直辖市职称改革领导小组的领导下设立了多个考区。目前,很多地区正高级技术资格的评审工作也逐渐采用考评综合的方法。通过考试取得的资格代表了相应级别技术职务要求的水平与能力,作为单位聘请相应技术职称的必要依据。
